peterpanteli.jpgWhen I set up UCS Consultants in 1983 (whisper the date ... where has the time flown?) I wanted to create a dynamic, creative and "virtual" fundraising consultancy able to work with not-for-profit organisations, large and small, without being encumbered by expensive structures and overheads.

UCS is lean but not too thin to deliver what we promise; it is experienced and successful without being tired or taking clients for granted; and it is passionate and creative without taking risks for risk's sake.

I love fundraising and nothing stimulates me more than to help an organisation realise its dream and make a difference to the people it wishes to help. Our team of professionals is exceptional and if you have a project or a challenge which you can't handle alone, I hope you will give us a chance to help.

UCS Consultants grew from within the Third Sector and its ethos mirrors the values and imperatives that drive the sector. It was set up by Managing Director Peter Panteli and currently has a team of specialist consultants and associates throughout the UK and abroad covering disciplines as diverse as:

There are over 30 consultants and associates working with UCS Consultants and all are highly skilled professionals.

Its core business is to help clients raise funds for both capital and revenue needs and to help clients get "Fit to Fundraise".

UCS designs its fundraising services from the ground up. Each prospective client's situation is individually evaluated and an appropriate proposal is created to reflect their actual circumstances. There is no rigid and inflexible "UCS System" to which our clients have to bend. Indeed the stimulation of tackling "difficult" causes gives our consultants as much pleasure as the high profile iconic charity campaigns with which we are also familiar.

It is a national consultancy with clients from all parts of the country and overseas.

UCS has a healthy mix of consultancy, fundraising management and training contracts. We believe that all of our consultants should 'get their hands mucky' by running fund-raising campaigns regularly. No consultant working for UCS will have spent the last twelve months just advising other people on how to fundraise!
