We design our work around you and your needs but amongst the services we offer are:

  • Fundraising Health Check

    This is a preliminary analyses of your fundraising operation giving an initial evaluation of issues, opportunities and threats and recommendations for action. Is the fundraising mix right? We benchmark performance and we look at enabling issues that may be hindering potential.

  • Fundraising Strategy & Plan

    UCS will create a detailed fundraising strategy and fundraising implementation plan. This will be the fundraising workbook which will plan every facet of the fundraising development campaign and look at all relevant factors from fundraising to governance, public relations, resources and communications. It will cover all areas of fundraising including big gifts, grants, community fundraising, trading and many more techniques and design a programme that will work.

  • Research & Bid Writing

    UCS is highly experienced in donor research and researching big gift and grants prospects and offers a comprehensive research and bid writing service.

  • Fundraising Management

    UCS can then either manage the fundraising campaign itself or support in-house management of the campaign. It has a full range of fundraising professionals including consultants, fundraisers, researchers and trainers. It is highly experienced in creating new in-house fundraising teams and mentoring them to independence if required. Some clients contract with UCS to manage their in-house fundraising team on a long term basis and others on a transitional or developmental basis.

  • Specialist Management and/or Consultancy

    Alternatively if the client has a partial skill base within its staff UCS can manage parts of the fundraising operation whilst training staff to a satisfactory level so that they can take over the role. Generally this focuses on the following:
